Harini Shah, PE, MBA

Founder & Principal Consultant

Harini Shah brings over 23 years of power industry experience spanning transmission planning, congestion analysis, and energy market trading across ERCOT, MISO, and CAISO. She holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin, and is a licensed Professional Engineer in Texas.

Her career includes senior roles at Shell, ENGIE North America, EDF Trading, BioUrja Trading, and DTE Energy, where she built fundamental analytics platforms, led CRR trading books generating millions in P&L, and directed teams of analysts and developers. Harini's deep expertise in production cost modeling (UPLAN, Dayzer) and transmission analysis (PowerWorld, PSS/E) allows her to translate complex grid dynamics into actionable market intelligence for clients.

Kris Dixit, MBA

Senior Consultant

Kris Dixit brings over 20 years of experience at the intersection of physical grid reliability and energy market strategy. His career spans transmission planning, nodal market design, FTR and virtual trading, and asset optimization across ERCOT, MISO, and CAISO. He holds a Master's degree in Engineering and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.

Kris has held leadership roles at EDF Trading North America, CWP Energy, and the Lower Colorado River Authority, where he designed trading platforms, led multi-market FTR desks, represented his firms in ERCOT stakeholder processes (CMWG, WMS, TAC, RPG), and advised C-suite leadership on resource adequacy and market design proposals before PUCT. He is also the founder of AI-driven ventures focused on making enterprise-grade analytical tools accessible to underserved markets.
